Kamala Harris is putting it bluntly. A second Trump term means irreversible damage. She says voters have a clear choice between a candidate who will bring people up or a candidate who will continue to bring people down.
“This is probably one of the most important elections of our lifetime...This is about everything ... and whether we’re going to have a president who actually works to lift folks up and give you a sense of pride in your country or somebody who is, full-time, just beating people down.”
“I fear that if we don’t correct course, the damage will be irreversible...Everything is on the line. And here’s what I’ll say about voting: There are states and there are state legislatures who, especially after the [U.S.] Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act, have put in place laws that have been designed to suppress the vote.” Quote as reported by Crystal Hill on Yahoo News
Harris also asked the following referring to the GOP and Donald Trump:
"Everybody has to remember this and ask this question of yourself. Why don’t they want us to vote? Why are they creating obstacles to us voting? Well, the answer is because when we vote, things change.” Quote as reported by Crystal Hill on Yahoo News. The more obvious answer is when people vote heavily, people like Trump lose.
Trump has recently questioned mail in ballots and attacked the Postal Service in an apparent two front attack to eliminate mail in ballots. Trump may be thinking he is going to lose, so restricting the vote, in his mind, may restrict the democratic vote more than the republican vote, with the possible impact of changing the inevitable.

All the president is, is a glorified public relations man who spends his time flattering, kissing, and kicking people to get them to do what they are supposed to do anyway.
