The Washington D.C. game of political football over Coronavirus relief continues. A lot of talk but no proposals on resolving the problems facing the American people. Nancy Pelosi joined in on the game calling Trump's actions "unconstitutional slop" and "unconstitutionally absurd".
There is a lot of posturing going on. The politicians are using sound bites to look good.
"While he says he's going to do the payroll tax, what he's doing is undermining Social Security and Medicare, so these are illusions..." Nancy Pelosi
"'Something's wrong," [Pelosi] said. 'Either the president doesn't know what he's talking about ... or something's very wrong here about meeting the needs of the American people at this time.'" NBC
Politicians on both sides are good at posturing without making any clear commitments on "meeting the needs of the American people at this time." Each side is entrenched to keep their base happy with words not backed up by meaningful action.
What is going on in Washington D.C. is political slop and politically absurd.

All the president is, is a glorified public relations man who spends his time flattering, kissing, and kicking people to get them to do what they are supposed to do anyway.
Harry S Truman
“Pro and con are opposites, that fact is clearly seen. If progress means to move forward, then what does congress mean?”
― Nipsey Russell
