When Trump fails, it seems it is always somebody’s else’s fault. When somebody else does a good thing it seems Donald Trump tries to take the credit.
Trump’s Tulsa rally was a political failure. The crowd was much thinner than he expected. However, the low turn out was not Trump’s fault, at least according to Trump.
Trump’s Tulsa rally was a political failure. The crowd was much thinner than he expected. However, Trump and his campaign manager, play a good game of deflection based on deception.
(ABC News) “TRUMP: ‘We had some very bad people outside. We had some very bad people outside. They were doing bad things.’
BRAD PARSCALE, Trump campaign manager: ‘Radical protestors, fueled by a week of apocalyptic media coverage, interfered with @realDonaldTrump supporters at the rally. They even blocked access to the metal detectors, preventing people from entering.’ — on Twitter.
Both statements are pure Trumpaganda…fake news, false reporting. There were no radical protestors preventing entry to the rally. There were no bad people outside doing bad things to stop Trump supporters from entering the venue. The bad turnout had nothing to do with anything but a Trump campaign failure.
Here is what the AP reports on what did happen with protesters:
“Trump campaign officials said protesters prevented the president’s supporters from entering the stadium. Three Associated Press journalists reporting in Tulsa for several hours leading up to the president’s speaking did not see protesters block entry to the area where the rally was held.
While Trump spoke onstage, protesters carried a papier-mache representation of him with a pig snout. Some in the multiracial group wore Black Lives Matter shirts, others sported rainbow-colored armbands, and many covered their mouths and noses with masks. At one point, several people stopped to dance to gospel singer Kirk Franklin’s song ‘Revolution.’” The Associated Press
There were protests while Trump spoke. In fact, according to the AP report Trump supporters clashed with anti-Trump protesters yelling “all lives matter.” The Associated Press report states the Trump supporters outnumbered the Trump protesters.
In fact, at one point armed Trump supporters followed those marching against Trump. One Trump supporter came out of his truck and sprayed marchers with pepper spray.
The Associated Press reports show that the radical protesters may have been the Trump supporters and not bad people doing bad things to stop the rally as Trump and Parscale claimed. The only bad people doing bad thing were Trump supporters not the other way around.
As usual, with the Trump campaign it is always somebody else’s fault…they know how to play a good game of deflection to keep their base happy.
The attendance at the Tulsa rally may, however, be an indicator that the Trump base is not as happy as Trump wants them to be.

All the president is, is a glorified public relations man who spends his time flattering, kissing, and kicking people to get them to do what they are supposed to do anyway.
