These types of numbers are bad news for Trump. The indicators show he is losing the election. With so many voting already, the election may already be lost. Voter turnout on election day may still impact the results but with the polling trending in the direction it is going, Trump and the GOP need to be worried.
Voters blame two people for failing to give Americans a badly needed stimulus boost. Donald Trump and Nancy Pelosi. The consequences are serious for Trump because polling from swing states shows voters are not happy.
As we have said in previous posts, the election will be decided by key swing states giving one candidate or the other the advantage in the Electoral College vote. It is possible that one candidate may win the Electoral College with the other candidate winning the popular vote (as in 2016). The following states, are key to victory. "A recent Gallup poll found 77% of registered voters said the outcome of the November election between President Trump and Joe Biden matters more to them than prior U.S. elections.

Even if you don’t want to believe it (Trump supporters) the fact is Donald Trump lost the 2016 popular vote by approximately 3 million votes. The way polls are pointing now, Trump is headed for another popular vote loss. However, he could do what he did in 2016 and win the Electoral College. Harry Enten’s analysis is proof this could happen.
Things are not looking good for Republican Senator Lindsey Graham. His opponent, Democrat Jamie Harrison, just shattered fund raising records. Harrison is also competitive in recent polls.
(NBC) “Only 27 percent of Americans believe Trump has taken the risk of contracting the coronavirus seriously enough according to the poll, while 72 percent say he did not take the risks seriously. A similar amount, 72 percent, say Trump did not take appropriate precautions regarding his personal health.”
